    Anne was raised on the East Coast and then came to the Midwest where she attended and graduated from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana after which she taught High School History and English.  Anne met and fell in love with a Midwesterner whom she married and then stayed home to raise their five children.  

    Anne has held Real Estate Broker licenses in two states and began her Door County real estate career with Door County Realty, Inc. in 1997 as a Broker Associate.     In 1979 I moved to Door County, obtained a Wisconsin Real Estate Broker’s license, and went to work for Wilson-Shaffer, Inc. I’d grown up hanging around my grandfather’s real estate office in Michigan, so it seemed like a natural move for me.  As it happened it worked out extremely well, and from 1984 through 2015 I was the president/owner/managing broker of the company.

    During those years, I participated in the Door County Board of Realtors by serving on many committees and holding the offices of treasurer, vice-president, president and serving as a director of the Wisconsin Realtors Association.  I was also president of the Door County Board of Realtors Multiple Listing Corporation for two terms and served on its board of directors for six years.  During my time as the MLS president, we transferred the MLS from print to computers and introduced the advertising concept of the free Real Estate Guide magazine to Door County.

    In December of 2015, “the stars aligned” when I received an offer to purchase for the Wilson-Shaffer office building. I turned 65 years-old in 2015 and had been contemplating a simpler life leaving the management end of the business.  Business was exceptionally good 2015, and working 10-hour days was not how I imagined my “golden years!”  Getting back to just listing and selling real estate seemed like a much better idea.  I closed my business, sold the building, and . . .

    Here I am at Door County Realty, Inc. enjoying every minute of my “new” career!

    Prior to joining his wife, Connie, in the real estate business in 1989, Bob Erickson served in management for several nationwide trucking companies.  He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a bachelor of science degree in journalism with an area of specialization in advertising.

    Bob received his real estate broker’s license in 1989.  He became president, and chief financial officer of Door County Realty, Inc.  In 2009, Bob was honored to accept the Door County REALTOR Association award of “REALTOR of the Year.”  Bob’s wife , Connie, was named ‘REALTOR of the Year” in 1987.  This was the only time that both a wife and husband have both received the award.

    Bob is very active in the Egg Harbor Lions Club, serving as president for seven different terms.  He is active in Egg Harbor politics, having served on the Egg Harbor Village Board as well as the Egg Harbor Village President.  He is currently on the Egg Harbor Board of Appeals, as well as serving on several Door County Board of REALTOR positions including being a past Door County Multiple Listing Service vice-president.
